After Rocknolds had his bath, he decided for us to go to the beach! It takes us almost 2 hours to reach Avalon beach. From Burwood it is around 49kms… That’s quite far and so hot driving under the sun…  It’s our first long travel here in Aus. Thanks for our very helpful GPS “tomtom” for giving us the direction wherever we go… We ordered KFC to have some snacks while on the road and when we arrive.

Along the way, we passed the wildlife and for the first time we saw a dead kangaroo on the side of the road.. I’m not sure if it’s a joey or a momma kanga… it’s not that grown up.. maybe that’s why one of the car crashed on her… poor kanga…

We passed by Newtown beach, and they had this small carnival in the park and a lot of good selling along the road… it’s cheap! Many people went there to shop and swim on the beach…

When we arrived at Avalon Beach, a lot of families were there… also sexy girls in a bikini and gorgeous guy w/ their short.. and also w/ the surfers in their suit.. There’s a strong current and the wind is so cold.. We tried to swim in the pool. my god! the temperature is 17 degrees celsius.. how can I every swim on that kind of water… it’s freezing!!

After a couple of hours, we went back home… we passed by a long winding road again and also on the other side of wildlife.. good thing there’s no joey there… we’re so tired… i felt so hot! my face’s burning… It’s quite a long travel and a great experienced we had… hehe  We’re planning to go to another beach soon. maybe on the easter part for now.. The Northern Beaches is quite far.. hehe but it’s a great one too! Someday, we’ll have a holiday home there! That’s my dream! hahah =)

We captured one of Reece Scot’s tap & chicken dance and his cleaning habit.. He loves to play w/ the vacuum, imitating me… and also the feather duster… and when he found some cloth or tissue.. he will bend down and clean the floor.. hehe ooh.. what a smart boy he is.. hehe the imitator..

Reece Scot tried the Coca Cola drink when he was 4 months old… And it was so funny that everyone in the dinning room burst out laughing. Lolz… it’s because of his reaction… his face, it’s so cutie… hehe

I woke up early today to prepare breakfast… As usual, Reece got up first and woke me up.. We slept in the living room last night coz it’s warmer than the Bedroom. Tabs greeted me and told me that I’m already old. Old enough to be single and Good to have a new family, new country and new Life.

26 years ago, mama Grace told Papa Roy that she’s almost due… then papa just laugh hehe  then on the 26th of November 1982 @ 8:30pm… A beautiful baby was born (ehem)… I was born in the hospital just right across to our house in Cebu. :)  I was the only girl in the family.. the eldest and only granddaughter of my lola & lolo in the Butaslac side…  all of my lil cousins are boys :)  but on my mother side, we’re mostly girls =)

I am living in this almost perfect world called earth for 26 years  9,471 (including 7 leap years) 227,304 hours 13,638,240 minutes and 8,182,944,400 seconds…  that was quite big enough if i have saved money since birth hehe you reckon?

So much for the calculation.. It just makes my head ache..  Anyhow, I’m thankful that God gave me this life… I’m thankful that i have a loving family who had supported me since then.. Even if I made mistake, they gave me another chance..  And when I have my own family now, they’re still there to support me emotionally… Even though we’re a miles apart… communications are still there for us always…  Without them, I never be like this… =)

Thanks for my beloved hubby, for the never ending love and care he showed to us… especially when we had our beautiful angel which means so much to us… He gave us the light and make me more mature ever! hehe… I thank Him for leading us the right way which I always asked..

Well, they said that life starts @ 40… I’m passing halfway and going on the 3/4 of that age I’m just wondering.. what’s that life would  be? I bet I still look young by that age.. wahaha. Let’s see..

We just celebrated the first birthday of our handsome son Reece Scot… Since he doesn’t have a lots of friends here in Aussie, we decided to celebrate it at home w/ some of the relatives…  If we’re still in Cebu, it would be a big party since there’s a lot of kids of my loving friends there… I miss you all! I wish we spend his first birthday w/ our parents and friends there… but anyway, the most important thing is happiness and the blessings we have in our lil family today.. We’re very thankful for these..

Reece Scot’s birthday is fast approaching… He will have his first birthday September 5… Weee!!  Poor Reece, he doesn’t have friends yet, so the expected visitors will be the relos…

By the time he reached, 10 months old… He started walking.. He took a few step, step, step and step! hehe… Good for him… but sometimes, he just scared and would prefer to crawl coz it can make him go anywhere he wants easily…  Also, he loves to push his stroller while walking.. He’s so good on walking now if he’s holding to something… Sometimes, he’s unaware that nobody’s holding him and he walked… especially when playing the ball.. kicking it… He’s sooo cute!!! hmmm…

And when he reached 11 months, My, He’s so much grown.. very energetic… I felt exhausted sometimes.. and he’s getting heavy! whew! This is it! He always gibbers… “mama mimi” when he wants milk… “TA!” for Thank you… Papapa for his daddy… “BaBay” for goodbye… and awhile ago he clapped his hands! Weee!!! Also, when he got hurt by something, he spanked it! haha.. He got this lil heavy hands always spanking mommy.. not me spanking him.. i would never do that… It’s not good for them… especially for the babies…

I’m planning to wean him soon after he turns 1 year old… I know its hard.. I want to work now but I don’t want to leave him to the Child Care or to anyone… not yet… I’ll have to think about this.. Needs more time… maybe I’ll decide after we moved out… sooon.. weee! We’re so excited na! hehe

Anyway, I’ll upload the video of his first steps soon… See yah mate!

Last Saturday, We went back to Dr. Joanna Sharp @ Leichhardt… She said that they found a new cyst on my left ovary and my old cyst was nowhere to be found… and the fluids that scattered into my ovary was came from an egg cell that was ruptured… thats why i felt a pain in my lower abdomen… but it’s not that serious… She let me drink PANADOL instead of NEUROFEN coz i’m still breastfeeding Reece Scot.. then aside from that to have a good contraceptive will help decrease the cyst… so, I had Depo provera injection good for 12 weeks and my next appointment will be this coming November 11, 2008… That includes the pop smear test, depo provera & anti cervical cancer vaccine… Whew! It feels so good that they’re taking care of you very well here in Aus… And take note! Everything I had was free.. except for the depo provera needle… I bought it for $8.43 instead of $17.50… See, it’s still cheap One thing i have to watch is my weight… I weigh 58.3 kgs now and I don’t want to gain more weight.. have to lose a couple of kgs … soon… tsk tskk.. chocolates are so tempting!!! grrr… Till here! Ta!

Last Monday, 11 August 2008 I visited my OB GYN @ Leichhardt to know what’s been bugging me… For the last few days, my left pelvic was painful… sometimes it does and sometimes its gone… So I was worried about the paraovarian cyst on my left ovary… coz the last time i knew it was there when i was 6 weeks pregnant… it was almost 5 cm diameter just like a golf ball. then after i gave birth I didn’t notice it anymore… 

This arvo, we went to Ashfield to have my pelvic ultrasound and to my surprise she wants to do the transvaginal… So i was wondering why? Maybe she found out something in my left ovary…. After i had done that, I waited for the result and will be going to give it to Dr. Joanna Sharp tomorrow @ Leichhardt again… to see whats the result and to discuss it w/ her…

10 minutes ago, someone called me up and she said that she was from Ashfield Medical Center. She told me about the result that my ovarian cyst was ruptured already.. That’s why I felt the pain a couple of weeks ago… but it isn’t that bad though..  So, there will be much of a discussion to come tomorrow… I hope everything will be fine…

Here’s what I’ve found out regarding a ruptrued ovarian cyst….

What this means is that a fluid-filled mass developed on your ovary; often this happens when an egg is not released at ovulation and the follicle — the sac — fills with more and more fluid and gets bigger and bigger. This may cause pain on one side of the pelvis. Eventually, the cyst can get so large that part of the wall weakens and fluid begins to leak out; that is, the cyst ruptures. It is similar to popping a water balloon. When this happens, the fluid may irritate the pelvic lining and cause pain, often severe. Most of the time the pain begins to gradually subside over the course of the next few days.

The reason your doctor ordered an ultrasound, or sonogram, was to look to see if there really was a cyst and to see if it had really ruptured. If the cyst had ruptured, there would be fluid in the pelvic cavity behind the uterus. If the cyst had not ruptured, it would look like a big black circle on the ultrasound screen.

If a cyst is present and is larger than 5 or 6cm, and if you are having a lot of pain, sometimes we will recommend a laparoscopy to remove the cyst. If it has ruptured, and your pain is getting better then we usually just give pain medicine and watch to see what happens. If pain does not begin to improve within several hours, or if your blood count drops, then we have to do a laparoscopy to make sure you are not having any internal bleeding. Sometimes birth control pills are used to help decrease your chances of getting an ovarian cyst again. This is a common problem and can easily be taken care of by any gynecologist.
